For between 6 and 7 years at various times i have tried staying at the top of Mt Ventoux. A couple of years ago Riverbankannie took my advice that it was supposed to be magnificent.
Set the alarm for the sunrise and middle of the night stars as well. (No decent photos of stars)
All the really decent photos are on the decent camera but are too big to upload.

Worth doing ? Dam right

Pool all topped up to the brim with fresh, clean water from my (very) new borehole and has now got its solar panel cover (blue bubble wrap?) on to keep it warm and cosy...

I love it when a plan comes together...

06:15 this morning , tower of London and traitors gate. The river was low tide and very calm. Laika the wonder dog showed no interest. It's all about the ball with her.

We gave up on the ardeche train as le mistral is about for 3 or 4 days and decided to replace that trip out with the chamonix cable car tomorrow and 1200 is looking clear. Hell of a thunderstorm today in albertville where the car show was and then conflans and the last one is st gervais les bains

Numerous waterfalls. They said 30. Plenty more than that. All had at least a 500 foot drop. Camera phone useless for showing them
10 euros to park a camper.3 euros a scooter. Think it was 5 for a car. That saves about 2km walking and youll appreciate it on the way back if you do the 3 hour round trip.
It is possible to see the majority of it without having to climb about 1000 foot by enjoying a flattish walk for about 45 minutes each way. Ibis on the mountains seen but no marmoset which are supposed to be there

The place was like a scene out of game of thrones
