Yep. Never heard of it myself til a couple of days ago. Definite revisit. Free water. Lovely free aire. Next to where they launch river rafters. 2 bars in town excellent boulangerie (nut and raisn cereal loaf) and the town down the road was a corker with another free aire. Semoans. Excellent chocolate shop. Supposed to be famous

We were there last September, we have been along that coast many times with a caravan mostly and the steep incline always put us off that site so it was our first visit.

We stopped at Las Hortensias, La Franca, the other side of Llanes which is another lovely site but without the views.

Hacked off with annecy today. Sweltering hot and usual places all taken. Gone out to rumilly at a lovely plan d'eau and had some retail therapy with purchase of a electronic scooter. Injury photos to follow in due course.

Evening walk at Menerbes.

Wanted to go to Gordes. Went in Tuesday morning, market day so no chance of parking. Went back about 8pm and the only car park motorhomes can stay in, legally, is a very sloping one at the back of the police station. Spent ages deciding would we wouldn't we and in the end the €12 charge and an additional €2 if we wanted to fill with water, in the end we couldn't justify the cost so back to Menerbes.

Did stop at the view point to get a photo though.

Theres one at the bottom of that hill on the right. About a kilometre.
Gordes is a much better view from the outside than the inside if that helps

Found the cascades de clarefontaine somewhere between belley and seyssell. Col

de biche as well but photos wont do that justice. Treated her to what i call a meal out. Warmed up flan hot chocolate and a huge cake each for well under 13 euros
