How old is it?
@funflair may be able to help

Have you tried shutting the Control Panel off, then on again?

yes it was disconnected and still the same just keeps saying batteries ect but they are new and fully charged. i read a previous post from abecist i think and have tried all the advice which he was given, nothing worked.Cant even find anybody around this area to just take a look at it .

I don't really know where to start------- but it sounds like, the power is not getting to the main control box (electroblok??) Maybe a fuse/ breaker on main 12 v from battery------- maybe a fuse on electroblok????
What year is the van???

Hi

You say the SOS lighting is on, do you mean that you have put the SOS fuse in? if you have I would say remove it now that your batteries are OK.

Basically the same as ours Jon, actually the van we went to Southdowns to look at but then somebody put a deposit on it before us so we went up to Scotlandshire for ours.

And I wish I could help but it appears that these panels don't like sitting with flat batteries, as @sillybug says Robert abacus seems to have had the same problem.

HI Martin we took fuse olut but it continues to work .beginning to look like an expensive trip to travelworld

No disrespect, but that's the last place Id take it to, if it were me. If you're in Norfolk have a word with Becks Motorhomes, Im sure they may be able to help.

So you don't have a fuse in position 2 or 3 in the fuse box, might be worth switching all off and then disconnect and reconnect batteries, I believe that disconnecting the control panel and reconnecting can help in some circumstances, the panel that the control panel is fixed into is on spring clips sp just pulls off from the bottom edge.

This morning i have been in touch with simpsons becks and a few more nobody will touch it .Getting really fed up now cant get away cant fix it . Can i ask why you wouldnt take it to travelworld please

You could sound them out and see what they know but the factory might be a better bet(y)

Martin

Hope you get it sorted you could also give Reliance a ring they might be able to help

Thanks martin but we have disconnected allsorts and reconnected done all the things we have read
. I have already rang travelworld but didnt really tell me much just how much they charge per hour
may consider ringing factory as a last resort

They sell motorhomes, but from what I understand and have heard, they seem to know very little about them. My opinion only.

Our Hymer does silly things sometimes, I have solved a few issues by switching off the main electro bloc or equivalent as ours is another make, switch off count to 10 and turn on again

Similarly there is a big fuse near mine 50A I think in a separate holder, try removing that and refitting

Easy stuff to try about my technical limit :)(y)

Good luck, hope it turns out to be something simple

Have you tried starting the engine to see what that does to the controller options? It might just reset things somehow (y)

Still thinking simple first :)

Simples good for me but yes already tried but thankyou

I know everybody is trying to help(y) but just to help @sillybug you don’t have elektrobloc so don’t go looking for one, your controller as you know is CBE.

Martin

Sorry if I’ve missed it........ but why don’t you take it to the garage that does your annual servicing and hab check?

Does it still have an off switch though? Mine is something different, but by switching off and on I have resolved daft electrical things

With reference to TW they should know there way around the CBE system as N+B vans have had it on for years, I don’t know that that many other vans use CBE so a lot of dealers and service engineers could well be stuck trying to diagnose it, Marcel leisure are agents for CBE so may be able to suggest an engineer, just a long shot @sillybug

Might be worth taking the cover off the distribution box, should be in your left side locker under the seat and then just give the relays a gentle tap with the head of a screwdriver or similar just to unstick anything that is/might be stuck.

Off and standby switch on the control panel David but not a hard switch like Electrobloc.

Martin

Carthago use CBE. Dealer in Lincoln might know the problem.

Thankyou zepp rang reliant this afternoon they are in touch with factory who say they think the control panel is in a tizzy abit like me at the moment and it needs resetting but didn’t say how so we wait till tomorrow when they should send the reset procedure then if it doesn’t work there is probably something more expensive wrong
UnfortunatelyReliant can’t get us in till end of may.
Just opening bottle of red think I’m gonna need it .Will update tomorrow thankyou for all your help

Teresa

My cbe charger has a fuse in it.

but I also think I've seen a method for rebooting the cbe panel, that's why I was prompting @funflair. Do you recall it Martin?
