I think Brexit and increased Green Card costs are causing some to think twice at this time but most Funsters I know who have been including myself continue to return and every year we have new members dipping their toe. It really is a magical place to visit.Morocco seams to have lost it's appeal, going off how few Funsters are saying they're heading there for sure??

I think there is a maximum charge at least that was the case with Aviva last year. How did you get the Green Card for 90 days for £220? Comfort seem to be quoting many others £53.60 for the first week green card and £33.60 subsequent weeks ie about £452

i used to call into the gibralter office when i was going morocco. well for other insurance companies .No good unless you have an address in Spain and your m/h is registered in Spain.
Ironically, the company who underwrite Saga's insurance (Acromas) are based in Gibraltar.

How much was it and did you get a cabin?Looks like ferry to Santander 10th Jan for us all being well.
Ken, I know you are a seasoned traveller and have been to Morocco before. However, I would offer some suggestions to aid you on your journey down and save you a bit of dosh too. You have seen my N10 route suggestions in the resources section that will save you on toll fares and uses mainly toll free motorways/duel carriageways and is suitable for large motorhomes too. There is also on this route an aire with free electricity (CC53385) (If the toilets are locked the black waste dump is accessed by the round grey plastic cap on the ground next to one of the power point stations near toilet block). Also, try and judge your fuel so you arrive at Irun near empty and push on a few K's to here for a big fuel saving compared to France and even good by Spain's standards. https://www.fuelflash.eu/en/alcampo...rcial-txingudi-zona-araso_b_-ventas-80-33301/We will be crossing via tunnel due to our pooch.
