Have you looked at mister auto, seems to be one for each country. We've used the Portuguese site and they deliver to drop of locations within 48 hours. You may find a drop point in your area.

As someone already mentioned I used the uk site to get the code I wanted then ordererd it through the PT site using google translate for help.

Ok so I drove up to Oviedo this morning beautiful scenery through the mountains...normally I'd have stopped another night somewhere but desperate to get this misfire sorted as it's not pleasant driving with it.

So got to a huge scrap yard in oviedo ...guy couldn't speak English again but managed to explain by photos and broken Spanish what i needed ....asked for 2 just incase and he went straight off and returned with 2 plugs with cables .

And as a bonus he gave me them free also ...

Fantastic ....so I hope now once I replace plug it fixes the problem ...fingers crossed
Wish me luck

Can you not cut the wire close to the plug and also where it goes into the loom and add a length of cable in its place.
Don't understand why it's giving you a shock unless there is coil that feeds it with high voltage. In that case it could be tracking out. Could try smearing some silicon grease on it or even WD40 might work for a while.

Either the plug or the wire immediately before it was knackered. Yep get a fair kick of it while engine is running ...same if you touched a coil lead on petrol so I'm assuming it's boosted higher than 12v would explain the 4mm thick wires ....

Anyway I cut wires about an inch from the plug and put new plug with 4 inch of cables on so plenty now...probably too much so I'll take 2 inch out the cable once back home so I can refitt the engine cover.

But as long as it's sorted it will do just now . That injector 4 is always the issue apparently as original cable too short so pulls on the plug which eventually ( im saying eventually but at 15 years old and 105000 miles thats not bad ) causes an issue. The other 3 have about an inch or inch 1/2 play but no 4 has none .

Just think how bored you might have become :)
I'm not complaining really , it's a good van and I negotiated it to a good price when I bought it so I don't mind fixing the issues as long as it's improving the van. I've a small list of things still to have done but he looks a lot better now than he did when I bought him.

Not bad only the rooflight & Alternator really as the rest are service items not bad considering the cheapskate price you paid for it.

When I went up there stupid satnag turned me up the road just before the carpark. Ended up at a hairpin I couldn't get round had great fun doing a 10 point turn on a hairpin on a very steep hill.
I've just found that hairpin bend lol , despite the road saying <10 metres > there's no warning before that bend....just aswell there were no cars coming other way.

On the way up to Jesus the reemer

There were a couple of cars parked on the LHS and cars kept coming down so I gave up. I was still a bit nervous of steep hills after my burning rubber experience a couple of days before.

Possibly back-EMF from the injector solenoid. That will be several hundred volts.
