And they leave this crap behind them for some other mug to pick up and dispose of.

They obviously had the means to take the rubbish there so they had the means to take it away with them, there's no excuse for this mentality.... If I could get hold of the scumbags I'd force feed it to them.

I had to pick it up and take it to the next bin.

I was wild camping in the Carrick hills when the recent Scottish air show was on, its a terrific vantage point but the litter that was dropped really got my goat. I spent nearly an hour clearing up. I certainly didn't want anyone thinking that I'd left anything behind.
There's simply no excuse for it.

Tiz term time again, so we who live here abouts have pick up litter blown into our drives and gardens again. The kids are all aged between 5 and 11, most are escorted to the school by their parents!

There was heavy rainfall at the time and people didn’t seem to want to run to the toilets, a mother and two teenage girls squatted down on the pavement a few yards in front of us to have a wee, followed by a mature lady a few minutes later. Some years ago at a yard of industrial units my mate owned there was someone parked in a car waiting to collect someone and they decided to empty the car of all its rubbish under the car.
My mate picked up the dustbin that was near the gate and emptied it into the passenger seat. They were not happy to say the least.
I still laugh now when I think about it.

Macdonalds cups, chip papers, cigarette packets when they stop for a snog and whatever with their girlfriends after a night out .... LOCALS .. many of whom probably blame motorhomers .

Litter is one of those things that really brasses me off! I just don't understand the mentality of people who can leave it anywhere and everywhere!
My kids were taught from day one that rubbish belongs in a bin, or a bag and taken home. Failing that put it in your pocket, or throw it on the floor of the car until you find somewhere to dispose of it properly.
They have never got out of the habit, and their kids are taught the same.

Don't go to parts of Italy then! Load and loads of rubbish in some areaz on all the roads leading to/from beaches etc, obviously hurled out of the car window when they leave. Then there are the ones who tip stuff in the emergency parking areas at the side of roads/motorways so much so that a car couldn't use it if it wanted to ... it was disgusting to see rubbish, and I MEAN RUBBISH, for km after km ... this had to be from those living there permanently, not just visitors etc. In some of the towns it was also filthy with stuff all over the place, not just the throw-away stuff from fast food outlets etc, but household rubbish too ... how they can live like that I don't know.

i agree with all of the other posts re rubbish , but my other pet hate is
watching a singer when starting a song the audience clap you can't hear the bloody song , then when the singer reaches a high note the audience start again cheering clapping . Show appreciation at the end not at the start and through out the song !
I know I'm a grumpy old git before you all tell me .

All the towns we have been to in Italy have been spotless apart from Naples but there was a bin man strike at the time.
