That was one thing it failed on!

Anyone know how the locking mechanism works on the driver's seat in a year 2000 MoHo to stop it spinning?

Thanks

on my bessacarr the screw in the locking lever kept coming loose so it would not lock so just needed to screw back in with a bit of threadlock

I’m fascinated as to how you didn’t notice the driver’s seat wasn’t locked before submitting it for an MoT!

Okay, hands-up, I knew but had forgotten as I'd not driven it for 12 Months due to a nasty broken shoulder that still hasn't properly healed! I just booked it in for an MOT to find what needed doing - I was facing the wrong way as I pulled into the testing station :) Of course it failed! 😕

Love the humour 😃😃

How could you drive it if it was facing the wrong way

I don't understand how you could drive it, I once had a seat swivel work lose the seat only mover a few mm but it made it undriveable.

I hope you didn't suffer similar to sea sickness as I did, was like riding a whirlitzer at an amusement park!

There should be a lever that is usually spring loaded maybe its got stuck in the up position
The screw that holds the spring loaded lever in place unwinds and the lever wont lock the seat in the forward position. Simple fix is to re tighten the screw, simple fix, had to do it numerous times.
