Last week I went to start the MH and the battery was dead, completely dead.
After jump starting the van we set off on our way, with suspecting that the battery had finally given out as I had suspected it was on its way for a while. We got home OK because on hook-up, the vehicle battery is charged from the Elektroblock (EBL20-2).
When I got back on the Monday, I went and purchased a new battery and fitted it, everything seemed fine. Went back to the van on Thursday, battery almost dead, turned the engine over slowly but then died before it started up so needed a jump again.
We again went away and when leaving the site, the Van started perfectly due to the charging.
I disconnected the battery when the van was back in storage and today when to carry out some testing.
When connecting up the battery, there are a few clicks from a box mounted in the battery area and a draw of 0.4amps for about 30 seconds and then another click and the current drops to around 0.15amps which will still drop the battery to 50% in just over a week.
The next steps when I get time is to start the fuse removal process, I already unplugged radio and this made not difference.
So my first question is, does anyone know what this unit is? It's connected direct to the battery with multiple cables going off and then multiple connections to the negative terminal as well.
