Hi newbie here.
I have a Lhd 1988 fiat ducato. My side lights don't work nor the dash lights or horn and the head lights one side is much brighter than the other.
The lights were working when I 1st got the van now they have packed up 2 days before the mot!! Could it be the relay. If so where is it?!
Help really needed.

As above, more like a bad earth if one h/lamp is dimmer.
The dim one could be trying to earth via another circuit...possibly side lights which may be why they don't work.
Check and clean all terminals, plugs and earths

Hi. Thanks for the replies.
I've tried that. I think it could be the relay but to the left of the fuses there are 6 relays. I have no idea which is which. And there doesn't seem to be a wiring diagram for the relays. Also there are 2 negs coming off the both side lights. Any ideas why?

There are normally individual earths for all the equipment. There is normally a bank of earth points on the right under the bonnett at top of the wing.

Relays either work or they don't. ..there's no half measures.
I can't see the side/dash lights being relay controlled, they are all low wattage bulbs, and will be fused in the fuse box.
Check the fuses with a meter or replace them, don't rely on a visual check.
They can blow at the end where it's hard to see the break.

Ok thanks.
Would the bad earth also make the side light dash light stop working?

If they tested OK it can only be a bad earth.
Try running a length of wire from the earth connection in the lamp holder to a good earth...only needs holding in place to check.
You could even hold the wire onto the bulb fixing Base.
