I've had a quote from Comfort that is nearly £400 cheaper than my Saga renewal quote. The catch is their windscreen replacement cover is limited to £3000. I have an A class. That limit doesn't really cut it. What do I do?

Will Comfort give me increased windscreen cover at a higher premium if I ask?

Is it possible to buy windscreen cover separately?

Are there other companies that have sensible limits?

Are Saga likely to negotiate down against an inferior cover quote?

Cheers, I'll give them a call to clarify. So far I've had quotes ranging from £450 to £1600!!! Hard work this renewal business................

So their cover is unlimited as long as you use one of their approved suppliers. Otherwise the £3000 limit applies. The question is, how likely is it that you might not find an approved supplier whilst abroad.
