I would just like to add that it's a full car park but there is other places big enough for these people to park their motorhome, what has got my goat is watching a young lad in a disability van struggle get his wheelchair off the van because of where he had to park and then almost getting run over crossing the carpark to get to park/river/play area.

Is that a hire company van?
Even so, I would have let his tyres down...arsehole!, my OH is a blue badge holder, cannot walk far without either my arm, or a shopping trolley for support.
Supermarket staff (youngsters) use the disabled spot when on afternoon shifts at our local massive Sainsburys, so they can come out for a fag break in the trolley shelters, which is also inconsiderate.

Not excusing taking the two bays up....but maybe one of the occupants holds a blue badge of their own????

Just a thought before you shoot from the hip.....
I was sure to check them out before posting whilst sitting eating our fish n chips, they are a young family swimming and kayaking. The young lad on the other hand in a mobility wheelchair is very much disabled.

You are probably right......but it doesn’t have to be a physical disability to have a blue badge, which would make an accurate decision on their needs difficult and far too often people jump to conclusions without knowing the facts.

Is it a pay & display CP?, looks like they are there for the night. As for the MH users needing a Blue badge, hardly unlikely as they would need full PIP allowance, to get one, so you probably couldn't paddle a canoe, and first thing you learn is place it where its clearly visible to all. But we would never park like that anyway.

It is indeed a pay and display, free after 6pm. I think they may be travellers. Is that the right term used these days? Sorry if it's not.

The hitched up caravan and what looks like a day van and another small motorhome suggests this is a known overnight stop. Perhaps they thought no one would need the parking bay in the evening.

Report them to the manager or the company that runs the car parking.I did at Lidl,,they didnt park there again.BUSBY.

I’d be inclined to challenge them to make way for the disabled guy, if not I’d block them in and call the Police.

But then I am a big bulshy b#####d

Got to disagree...... I get the upper rate of PIP and have a blue badge gained for that reason.
I have no outwardly visible disability.

I’m absolutely sure your right, but why take 2 bays when it would fit in 1 and why not display a blue badge?

Agreed, there's no excuse even with a badge but if it's a council carpark the council may be like ours, blue badge holders are not exempt from parking charges.

I think 'We get a bad name' because we keep reporting and photographing transgressions - litter, parking etc without actual proof or even enquiry, I think it's called scoring an own goal

There are unfortunately the odd few arseholes spoiling it for everyone else..
On my first trip away last week the MoHo I parked up beside - the only 2 in the designated parking bays for us- dumped their grey water into the car park once they’d washed up supper dishes... if they’d pulled forward a few yards they could have dumped it straight into a drain.

Nah I'm sorry I grew up with manners and respect of the elderly and the disabled, this is bang out of order, id just like to add they are still parked over the 2 disabled areas at 10.45pm and I'm the one getting us a bad name for naming and shaming? Jog on.

My late wife was disabled...... I'd have asked them if there was a reason to be there.............

Disabled and can't fit into one bay...?

..and no need to be rude.....

I'd certainly have asked them if they could park sensibly so as not to deprive others of using the second bay, that's assuming they were entitled to use one of them in the first place! If they refused then I'd be onto whoever manages the car park and inform them of the issue - it's not fair on any users of the car park because it gives the impression that if people can get away with parking like that on disabled bays they can do it in the rest of the car park too.

How about getting some self adhesive (bastard to get off ) stickers made up, say about 2ft x3ft, with 'I DON'T GIVE A F**K ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE' printed in large letters. These could then be adhered to the drivers side windscreen by fans of these lovely people to show just how well appreciated their lack of respect is.
