Where’s everyone that’s getting off on Fri heading to?

We are heading south east :-)

Friday? Restrictions on overnight stays and stuff are lifted on Sat 4th July in England. So are you jumping the gun as sites won't open till sometime in the day, or, just hoping to wildcamp somewhere but only fall asleep after midnight?

Oh I see , you think I meant SE England, sorry no it’s SE Scotland I’m off to. We don’t do campsites, and we are allowed out on Fri in Scotland :-)

I’m staying at home because the builder is starting work on Thursday. Re-jigging the kitchen so my dishwasher can fit in. Storage in the living room and a built in wardrobe in my bedroom.

Everyone heading out —- have fun, hope the sun shines for you all. We stay at homers would love to see photos. Safe travels to all.

Grrr .... I’m having a chilly gazebo catch up with 2 pals ... when Saturday was mentioned I assumed it was last Saturday ... so need to wait another week for our first foray out in the van ....

Our first trip post lockdown will be a pilgrimage to one of the motohomer's most famous and remote shrines. In much the same way that thousands visit Mecca, the Vatican and the Wailing Wall, we shall be travelling to Taunton to bow before the great God Edd-Ee in the hope that he shall bestow upon us the gift of Growler in return for our humble offering of many pasty and beer tokens.

We are booked into a small campsite near Thetford in Norfolk for 2 weeks starting on 4th July.

According to my wife there will be millions of people hitting the road on Saturday.

An hour and a half drive to Blenheim and overnighting at the racecourse. It's lovely to wake up to the sound of horses trotting past the van and watching them exercising around the track. 🏇 🏇🏇 Wrong sort of racehorse - I'm talking about harness racing.

Too busy at home at the moment to go anywhere. House & garden getting much needed TLC after years of neglect due to going away in the Motorhome.

I'll be meeting myself coming backwards making sure I have everything ready for when/if we get away.

The Black Forest on Friday. We’ve spent a fortune in the last four weeks supporting the tourist economy in France, so I think it’s only fair that we pop over the Rhine for a bit to support our friendly neighbours.
