Where are all the Funster's in Portugal?

Thought I would start a new thread similar to the Morocco 2015, for peeps that want to meet up etc, also it would be handy for others following for places to visit.
We are in Moncarapacho at present 37°04'59.0"N 7°45'51.0"W 10e p/n stay 3 nights 4th free, with leccy, wifi etc nice quiet site for relaxing, we are leaving tomorrow, going to Vale de Parra 37°05'33.5"N 8°18'42.8"W http://www.parquedagale.com/ 6.50e p/n all inc
 
Just as a side note, few years ago spent a couple of years wild camping round the Algarve, great fun and was very cheap when we wanted to eat out. :)
 
At portimao quay, but leaving tomorrow to head toward Lisbon. Army2wheels will be here.

Hi Col and Sandra we are going to a place close by there "17km" in a few days
37°16'47.4"N 8°14'28.7"W will look at dropping by to have a beer.

Would be good to catch up again. We won't be there long though, just a couple of nights.
 
Busman Dave and I are here now but definitly moving to there tomorrow and onto M something the day after then north the day after....I think!

Now eating the camper menu, 1 pint, 3 courses and all for 7.50 a head. We are now there but will move on to Monseraz tomorrow and then North.
 
Wow, love that area of Portugal. Have you visited the Roman ruins at Milreu (spelling probably sucks) or the stately home in Estoi.
Also there is a small town, Sao Bras De Alportel not far from there which has some stunning restaurants that are dirt cheap! They are well hidden away though.

We are at campsite that we intended to stay at tomorrow
We gave the one we intended to stay at a miss due to weather this morning!

We are at the Aires in Milladoiro - sad to leave Portugal but Hello Galicia! Just been into town which is a short walk from the Aires to top up our Spanish sim card and stopped off on the way back in Sams Sports Cafe and an Irish bar - both bars were really cheap and we have never had tapas like it! The people are lovely and we are going into Santiago de Compostella tomorrow so I am one happy girl! (y)
 
Still at Paderne Fonts but moving on tomorrow, not entirely sure where yet though. Will have to start moving up country soon, maybe just another week though!

We are still at Camping Messines, nice area. Will be moving out tomorrow make a plan later, will prob be doing the same re another week around here then moving up along the N2 towards Parque Natural do Vale do Guadiana then onto Monsaraz, Estremoz Portalegre and upwards(y) Hope to catch up along the road.

We will be there tomorrow for a few days, was supposed to stop there on Wed but gave it a miss, due to inclement weather, and then went to meet up with the others, unfortunately we put in the co-ords of a place we intended to stop after that? Looks good and not far from the beach(y)
Safe trip down.
 
Marc loved Monsaraz now at Benquerenca great aire and just up your street, n40°13.770 W7°13.306 number 28 in the aires book. Toilets grey/black waste dump and great setting but DONT try and get in through Benquerenca as road is shut you have to stay on main road and look for Motorhome sign. Oh and it's another free one :-)

Thanks for the heads up Dave on Benquerenca(y) Bit of a misshap 3 days ago:( shame we didn't catch up, I take it your on your way back if youv,e hit Monsaraz & Benquerenca already? No Jerez ?
Keep in touch, hope to catch up somewhere along the road when we get back in June sometime..
