I'll start.
Screw in sink taps.
The amount of times I've gone to do the washing up using the last of the hot water from the kettle, and the first plate/knife/fork etc to dislodges the plug. Out drains all the hot, soapy water.

Second thing is a roll out sun awning made out of flexible solar panels.

Would like of a couple of things on this trip. An ice cube maker, and air conditioning.

These ice cube machines look good, used to work on the Electrolux commercial version sometimes. Probably rebadged Hoshizaki 🤔

Washing machine and tumble dryer, dish washer , self levelling , air con in hab area , someone to get rid of that daft table in the lounge area , windscreen wipers that the crows don’t like to eat at the storage place and a respray in a really mad funky colour like scandal / kryptonite green .

Space.
Although the advantages of a compact vehicle win out over a bigger one, for the next few years at least.

Habitation air con would be nice in weather like this, too!

That's one of the reasons why I always use a bowl in the sink, rather than washing up directly in the sink itself.

A 2 way bedside light switch
This made me smile because it was something I went to great lengths to install in my last van build and which sent me down a crazy route on my current one.

The new build is going to not only have two way physical light switches but also all the lights and fans and the heater and the fridge and pretty much anything electrical will be controllable from an app on my phone.

It's taken up hundreds of hours of learning, and really isn't worth it, but I'm stubborn (and am quite enjoying figuring it all out!) so....

Things that would make life easier in the van?

At the moment it's really not much more than a panel van with a handful of bits installed so I'd probably say that the thing I miss most is a seat.

Sure, there's the top of the fridge, but that makes it difficult to sit and eat because I'll have forgotten the cheese and have to get in to the thing I'm sitting on...

There's also the toilet, but there's just something wrong about sitting on the toilet while eating your dinner. :D

What kitchen sink do you have ? I made some 3d printed plugs for a SMEV sink that seem to work ok ...
