Wells by the Sea, place to stop for two days? (1 Viewer)

looking for a place very close to Wells for a two day stop over early August ...have tried the campsites and most are full but still awaiting replies from the last two! Any suggestions for good pubs etc that do stop overs/

Wells is very popular at peak times, have you tried the campsite outside town by the station.

Trouble is there is usually rallies and ths at the schools which take a lot of vans and caravan which I would think have been cancelled with corona. Might be worth just checking in case they are on.

Theres a school that used to open a tempoary site in the holidays, but I can't remember the name of it.

I think I read elsewhere that a school is still hosting a club THS but that is for members only I believe!

Yes ths camping and caravan club members, MCC used to have a rally there, I guess that the caravan club probably would as well.

If you are a member of the Camping & Caravan Club, then Notts DA are running a Temporary Holiday Site in Wells next the Sea from 1st - 23rd August.

NB You must be a member of C&CC to participate.

CCC also run a THS at the primary school. We found it a much better site than the high school if they are running it this year
