Satallite dish comes up with a reading on screen no signal found, this has only just started happening so hubby's checked all wiring in and out van but still no joy. Any help greatly appreciated thanks.

Are you sure that the coaxial aerial plug into the TV is connected? Sometimes the solid copper core of the lead snaps or bends thus breaking the connection but appearing sound as it’s within the plug.

Mine did exactly the same, only mine turned out to be the coax cable that had vibrated allowing the inner and outer parts to meet, meaning no signal.

Cut back the coax and refitted the screw in socket and works perfect again.

When was it last working? I wonder if it needs a software upgrade.

Is the dish self seeking and does it appear to lock on to a satellite?

Yes it's self seeking and yes at times does seem to have locked on but then starts searching again.

With ours, (Roadpro) that happens when you haven’t found a satellite (poor signal or obstruction in the way).
If it appears to be locked on and does not start searching again, try looking for active transponders and see if you start to get a signal. Then if you get a signal, do a full search and see if the channels are found.

Thanks for the tag Lenny HB.

Halfpint, it sounds like an update for your Target is required. Have a look at the instructions here:

I did do a check for the satellite signal and there was a good signal plus we where in the middle of the field nothing to block signal or interfere with it.

We have a Maxview dish that doesn't do anything. It doesn't move on the roof and is not in the dock position. If it is the motor, can I just replace it, or will I be looking at a new system. Which then leads me onto Maxview or Oyster ?.
When we bought the MH the garage di say that they tested it and it was not working, but I have found a couple of wires loose.
