Fairly new
we picked up our new Broadway on Thursday. By Friday it was back at the dealers.
Why? Because the design team had changed the door design to the point that it was impossible to open the cutlery drawer without opening the habitation door. It was suggested that a curve be cut in the drawer. Doh that was a real Homer moment.
AS are obviously aware of the fault as in their 2021 catalogue on page 40 is a picture showing the same door as we have fitted.
But on their web site it shows a completely new door design and handle. How is this going to play out? Watch this space.

Does not surprise me, back in 2007 we bought a new Autosleeper Inca, kept it about 6 months and got rid. One of the problems was that when you opened the oven door it scraped does the front of the toilet door, so you had to open the toilet door before you opened the oven door.

Designed only to be used in warmer climes! Al fresco dining.
Wonder how sore the designers heads are?:doh::doh::doh::doh:

More kitchen woes.
Drawers are too small and jump off the runners when opening and closing
They suggested packing the runners. Yeah right.

That's actually quite a good solution. Gave you somewhere to sit whilst you were watching the toast browning!:whistle2:

It goes on . The pull out bed runner fell apart first time we opened it . Little ball bearings everywhere.

That's terrible, design, components, workmanship and service... all very poor.
I feel for you having spent all that money. I hope you dealer steps up and gets it sorted for you - quickly
Keep us posted

My ghast is completely flabbered!

But I do hope you get it all sorted quickly so you can use the van. As my old mum used to say: pretty poor show really. I wouldn’t put it quite like that…it’s a bloody disgrace. Good luck.

I would be tempted to return it for a refund, but you would have to find another to replace it.
Exactly our problem. We took long enough to decide on this one. We chopped a Adria Sonic in against this one. Went try to get that one back and it had sold within an hour of our bringing it in.

Well it gave me a laugh, obviously a well tested desgin and a good PDI.

Sorry for your woes, they may only be small faults but so many of them, with that standard of built quality, when they get fixed what else is going to go wrong next. The work force don't appear to care about quality at all.

A bad move.

I had an Auto Sleeper for years and although nI found it not the best conversion it was nothing bloke the one you have, hope they can fix it fast for you

My first thought, only read first post, was at least you have a cutlery drawer, our last van didn't. Read on and was shocked, autosleeper was the van to aspire to many years ago. Have a good look for an alternative and reject.

I would send it back for a full refund. Rather be without one than have a pile of sh** that keeps falling apart before you have used it properly. if it’s like that now think about when you start using it. (y)

Our problem is that to reorder any new motorhome we can’t expect delivery until March / April next year.

Better to wait, than feel rushed into accepting some sub standard.
