Billy boy that's norway booked 27 th June to 24 th July.
We're going too next year. Either May or Septmber. May is drier so could be the date we pick
I am going up to Oslo first. We have friends up there then will try to get to tromso fijord.
So what route are you taking to Scandinavia?
September for us, looking for early Aurora sightings, going up to Tromso as well, driving round via tunnel, then the Swedish bridge, might regret that, but best option for dog
We are thinking the bridge use to go over in it in the truck and just over the other side was a nice park area.then head for Malmö then Gothenburg.
Waiting for a price for ferry from hirtsal to larvik
so if ya waiting for ferry prices ya aint booked it yet and what nya mean ya visiting friends ya aint got none unless you mean barbs friends
Heres my trip earlier this year.....
You can see what a treat you're in for
Bill won't be going with grog at £8 a pint !
I have a few friends only a few don't want to many it would cost me more at the bar.
for 1 ya never up the bar u always look out the window when its your round and to right steve no way i would pay 8quid a pint
That's true I can't keep up with u.
Don't u know I'll send u a map if u like
I know the way, I asked what route you are taking. It's been discussed on various threads this year, the two Danish bridges or Travemunde to Trelleborg or the DFDS freight route direct to Norway.
Edit: I see your earlier post now, Hirtshals it is then. Good roads through the length of Jutland but boring. You can overnight around Hirtshals, plenty of places to pull in round what passes for a port and a stones throw from the town.
I know I use to go up the regular with the trucks see I had my own haulage business all European work.
I am considering the ferry from Histhalls to Bergen to save time
Have you any opinion on this
Sorry, I meant to say Bergen Norway
