Have a look on Towbars 2 tow cars website - they have a list of what they have a suitable vehicles which covers most of them. You have to look at your towing weight etc but most cars are well under for most motorhomes (but beware - some can only tow a tonne, which is insufficient for many)

List of vehicles

Peugeot 107 5 door, zero tax and 55mpg

Peugeot 108 Allure Top ..........

The SMART currently for sale looks like a good deal. Always find a parking space for a SMART for Two - even in Cornwall!

You can’t leave the car and go touring France using Aires in a caravan.:giggle:

 Always found as a reformed tugger that leaving the car and driving about on the caravan mover was never going to get us very far!

Sorry couldn't resit. Yes understand what you mean It's very much about personal choices and what suites YOU.

Made the comment as a throwaway given were ex tent, folding camper/caravaners and find a Motorhome a revelation. So easy to drive, set up, live in, pack up and go anywhere.

Couple of bikes and your covered. Our last MH was a tandem axle Kon-Tiki at 5k,KG and 8.5m It went most place in the UK & France. But need 4 parking bays at a supermarket to ensure some smart "T" didn't park 6" from you so you had no chance of getting out the bay due to turning circle.

A mentioned in other threads now instead of week here an there in caravan do 3night only in Motorhome (unless something exceptional needs further) arrive, sus out what's near by (generally walking distance 10miles or so return), walk / cycle one way next day opposite way, move on. can then go back repeat with reverse routes or go 90' to first visit.

More than enough to see without getting in another vehicle to drive for what could be miles. Move your motorhome nearer.

Ok, going to the takeaway, Got a full hazmat suit ready and plan to nuke the food in the microwave. Have found hand sanitiser/bleach doesn't make it taste too good.

Although I've only actually towed it once from bristol where I bought it back to fife in Scotland 😁

Seat Mii - same as Up
But much better looking in my opinion

I'm normally a vw fan but the mii is so much better looking than the up
Even the skoda version nicer than the up

Just bought a cheep panda towcar off eBay looking forward to using it. Towed it back with my car no problem. Do you research on insurance before committing, found that a nightmare, had quotes more that what I paid for the car. Went for cheepest TFT as most don't do comp while towing. Good luck Graham.

Was that the blue 2004 one ?

Well they all come out of the same factory, its only the colour and the bolt on bling that's different.
Bought ours when they first came out. It is the 75 Bhp and was a demonstrator with 1000 or so miles on the clock. Eight years later, just coming up to 30k miles, and just sailed through MOT.

Blue 2005 diesel £30 tax 66k spotted it bin 5 minutes after listing.

Lots of differences at the front and particularly the rear ....the up has that horrible black glass looking bit

I looked at a seat mii fr towcar( online ) a few weeks back and considered an upgrade but wasnt sure about buying during this lockdown
