Hi Del, so sorry you are having to call it a day after so long camping.

I have just emailed my stepdaughter as she is looking for a small conversion as her first van.

she is restricted for size (drive not long enough) but i have convinced her she really doesnt want a 30 year old VW hippy bus  (no offense to hippy bus owners)

if she shows any interest i will PM you regarding more (much, much more knowing her) information.

    cheers
    John.

Hi Del - like everybody else has said - very sorry to hear it's time for you to retire your van. It will, unfortunately, come to all of us at some point, but no less sad when the day arrives.

Best wishes for the future - you never know, different horizons may open up without your camper.

    Cheers, Mike

Hi Del, sorry to hear that you are selling your van. It was a pleasure to meet up with you for a chat and a cuppa when we visited Hayling Island. Hopefully you will stay on the forum and perhaps we can arrange to meet up again whenever we visit Hayling.
Take care and best wishes to you
    Brisey & Pamelaaar.

Chin up Del, health caused me to pack up last September, but we've had a couple of nice trips away since in rented cottages. In fact we're off to the Gower Peninsular next week, we went to the CC site there in the MoHo last summer but the weather was so diabolical we couldn't see anything so we're going back to have another look. This time I'll have my car to get about.
Good luck Del and keep reading and posting:thumb:

Good luck for the future Del. You can still keep up with us all on the forum if you wish.
    Whatever you do, enjoy.

Very sad time for you Del, I know that you loved coming to the shows and having a chat and going to see the bands playing, take care in the future you will be missed by us all, even though you won the prize money.:Rofl1:
Its a shame your wife never took to the motorhoming, no chance of getting her to drive.

All the best Del. :thumb: Bob and Jane.

50 years on and off, that's a long time and a bit like retiring it will take some getting used to. All the best for the future and enjoy whatever you do. :thumb:

Del I am really sorry to hear that, I will leave your name on the rally list in case you can make it, you will be welcome anyway and we can have a farewell party.
You are supposed to keep going until you are 123 then drop dead in the arms of some voluptuous hussy in a far off land, having first bequeathed, your delightful van to me so that I may follow in your illustrious footsteps.
But I still hope to share the odd drink when I am in your area.
