Geiranger isn’t as big as I thoughtcampsite pretty much empty after the summer (very wet one according to the locals and it’s not very good here for the next week or so).
So after here I think (not sure) but it’s us down south to pick up road7 towards Oslo and onto Sweden to do the moose safari, then back east towards Denmark (Sweden was never on the itinerary but Mrs Westy wants to see the moose’s![]()
No, it doesn't look like it. I think that's one of the viewpoints on the road to/from Grainger. Dalsnibba summit is much higher and accessed from a private toll road. The road leading to it runs directly to Grainger through the mountains. It was very cold last time we were there and the smaller lakes in the mountains were all frozen over. Beautiful views all round from the summit of Dalsnibba, mountains as far as the eye can see. Oh and there's a cafe and a gift shop!
Doesn’t matter I’m over the top now, easy peasyWhat’s the road out of geiranger like towards dalsnibba, not that we’re doing it, we have low cloud and wet conditions here but both my satnavs are sending me back on the ferry towards HellesyltI’m 5 tons in a fwd fiat
