The Westys are off to ScandinaviašŸ‘šŸ‘

So still in York Shire? Probably just outside Whitby!
Wish I was, it’s just been declared Drought status, then again it’s usually dry most of the year

Thank god we’ve got all the rain from Lancashire filling the pennine reservoirs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well we left the rain behind in Karlstad and wanted some peace and quiet, so we found this free spot in the grounds of Ovralid museum, which was the home of Werner von Heidenstam who won the Nobel prize of literature in 1916 and has been unchanged since he died in 1940. Unfortunately it’s closed but P4N says you can park in the carparkšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø, we shall see later when the security comes round🤣🤣

I sent some more over this morning for you, at this rate you might be able to have a bath when you get home :ROFLMAO:

I seriously can’t remember when I last had a bath, I do know that I have wanted one on occasions especially when the bones have been aching….šŸ˜¶ā€šŸŒ«ļø
Love a hot bath, I have one every Sunday whether I need it or not🤣🤣🤣. Must be a school night thing when I was young.

What do you get if you soak a York Shire girl in warm water? No idea as A) They have no idea what constitutes warm and B)What is water? :ROFLMAO: (enjoying your trip Ade, just wondering when you will get to Wensleydale and Hawes?)Pistols at Dawn?

Telegram for The Coops - send more rain - stop - keep Blackpool dry - stop - apart from alcohol - stop

Well I have to report that we’re at a bit of a crap few days of the trip, we’re just passing time waiting for our moose safari on Tuesday then we’re hotfooting it out of Sweden into Denmark! It hasn’t been great here weather wise, it’s lashing down again and today finds us in Mjolby where we’ve just done the services filled up with diesel Ā£1.75šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰ and found another free stop, not too sure on this one but we’ll see how it goes. Roll on Tuesday then we can get out of here!!!

Next year the nordics can whistle Dixie, we’re off to the sun in MoroccošŸ‘šŸ„µšŸ„µšŸ„µšŸ„µšŸ„µšŸ„µšŸ„µ

But at least you've been and had a great time overall, you've got to kiss a few frogs to find a good Lancastrian .....

Can i ask why you didn't take it. It would appear lot's of people on here won't go anywhere without their doggy.
She’s a 10 year old British Bulldog and aside of the fact she doesn’t like walking more than a mile the daughter at home prefers her being with her for a bit of company and securityšŸ˜‰šŸ˜
Until she (the dog) tried eating a hedgehog the other night so she had to de flea her, bath her and groom her till she’d got em all, then put the hog into a box and take it up the wood to release🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I only found this out the other day but hedge hog fleas are different to canine / feline fleas and die pretty quickly when off the hedge hog apparently

Well after yesterdays park up just outside Mjolby, nothing special but a nice area for 3 motorhomes with a peaceful nights sleep

We’re staying here tonight and will move on to a forest park up which we got earmarked ready for the short trip on Tuesday to see the Moose, then we’ll be hotfooting it towards Malmo for a quick overnighter to cross the Ƙresund and StorebƦlt bridges on the Wednesday and onto Denmark (and nearer GermanyšŸ˜‰šŸ˜šŸ˜)šŸ‘

You’ll be passing the best part Ade šŸ˜‰

Which is that then Al?

Spain

It’s friendly, diverse, lovely weather, great food, very very good value, nice n sunny, no ferries to pay for, your insured fully comp and no extra to pay.

It’s nearer than Morocco so less mileage, fuel, ferries and I know that’s important to you, no dog shooting or maltreatment of them.

Inland has spectacular villages and scenery, welcoming locals who serve tapas/food and great wine.

Fantastic walks if you’re into that and an absolute brilliant health system if needed.

Woolly hats n big coats not needed lol.

Morroco

Sand and Islam, can’t comment on the food.

Never been to Morocco as it’s a ferry crossing and Val doesn’t do ferries so it’s a never ever country to visit for us, but why would we.

Loads of friends have been and 99% of them go to extend the 90days which doesn’t interest us.

Oh! And it’s full of tight arsed French as well so another reason not to go 🤣

So Spain is, for me, the go to country to visit over the winter months.

Ok if you’ve never been I get it Ade, but don’t right Spain off, or Portugal for that matter šŸ‘šŸ˜‰.
