The Westys are off to ScandinaviašŸ‘šŸ‘

Spain

It’s friendly, diverse, lovely weather, great food, very very good value, nice n sunny, no ferries to pay for, your insured fully comp and no extra to pay.

It’s nearer than Morocco so less mileage, fuel, ferries and I know that’s important to you, no dog shooting or maltreatment of them.

Inland has spectacular villages and scenery, welcoming locals who serve tapas/food and great wine.

Fantastic walks if you’re into that and an absolute brilliant health system if needed.

Woolly hats n big coats not needed lol.

Morroco

Sand and Islam, can’t comment on the food.

Never been to Morocco as it’s a ferry crossing and Val doesn’t do ferries so it’s a never ever country to visit for us, but why would we.

Loads of friends have been and 99% of them go to extend the 90days which doesn’t interest us.

Oh! And it’s full of tight arsed French as well so another reason not to go 🤣

So Spain is, for me, the go to country to visit over the winter months.

Ok if you’ve never been I get it Ade, but don’t right Spain off, or Portugal for that matter šŸ‘šŸ˜‰.
You have very valid points and we are looking forward to Spain and some sun next yearšŸ‘šŸ‘
Just need somewhere to book for a few weeks when I know I’m goingšŸ‘šŸ‘

It is all that and I agree Al, but… 10 weeks is just not long enough to get away for the full winter, if I could stay in Spain for 6 months then that’s where I’d be….šŸ»ā˜€ļøšŸ˜Ž

It is a balls up Gary I agree for those who want to stay longer than 90 days, one of those ā€œthingsā€ that didn’t come up when we had the doodah vote back in the day.

We did get the French visa 3 years ago but tbh 90 days is enough so it’s no hardship for us mate to just do the 3mths.

We’re here until early December and already booked the tunnel again for next March so plenty to get our teeth into.

Christmas and New Year with family is a tradition we cannot break, then we can look forward to 2 more March and September 90 day departures again in 2027.

I get it though that 90 is not enough for some and do wish the EU or Brussels or whoever would get this sorted soon, and scrap this new EES crap until it’s sorted properly šŸ˜‰šŸ‘

So as I’m due a fluid change I thought I’d pop in and ask if they could do it? ā€œYes we can do it after dinnerā€ so it’s having a fluid change and inspection today at the Alde factoryšŸ‘šŸ˜‡šŸ˜‡
