What's all this about having to go somewhere special to see Moose, I thought they were everywhere.

When I used to go to Sweden in the 80's the trick was to avoid them especially when driving at night. Quite a few people killed every year by them, not much left of a car if you hit one.

Vals only seen 5 on our travels but they were at a distance, seen 100’s and 100’s reindeer.

Need to go in the mating season. They are out in force then if a randy bull wanders into a town and sees its refection in a shop window it thinks it's a rival and attacks. They often have to shoot them.

At the back of that hill you are climing up there is a little very old small village and a inevitble church.
It's a must look at,

You are on the hill bottom left of the map. Theres a pergola at the top, you can just make it out.

Been to Alesund a few times but never been up there. There's a new larger aire a bit away from the centre from the one you are on. There was a sign on yours advertising it.
