Spring from autotrail hab door Wanted.

Hi all.Im trying to locate a small spring Like the one shown in the attached photo.It is from the locking mechanism on the hab door.There are 2 locks but the spring on the top one has snapped.Thanks for any help.

I rang Autotrail who unfortunately cannot supply me with the spring,but can supply the full mechanism which includes the spring for the bargain price of £61.Looks like a rubber band it is then.

You should be able to find or adjust one from these.

Hardware stores and even Halfrauds sell boxes of springs of varying shapes and sizes.

Just fixed mine on a Carthago. Same crap doors probably. Found a spring rummaging through a customers workshop. Goid luck with your search.

I picked up a Box of assorted springs in Aldi of all places for about 4quid. If you have the Length of the coil and dia of the coil and end loops. I will look and see if I have one close?. Another suggestion is to try Mick O`Leary`s at Plaxton Bridge Nr Dunswell

Thanks for that Pete.Ive sent for a couple something like off eBay,but they are quoting expected delivery of November 6th.They must be delivering it by hand.

Look at your spring clothes pegs. You should maybe be able to adapt one.
