Rally Southport Oct 2014.

We are still not quite certain if we will make it on Thursday or Friday evening, but in either case we will be late arrivals. It's likely to be some time between 9 & 10pm.

Is that going to cause a problem?

No problem at all.:)

Thanks Shirley. I'll update with which day & hopefully a more accurate ETA next week.

Can we have the lunch as well please. Many thanks.

But from what I have heard about the last one - and the one that's about to happen (which we cannot attend unless my mum's operation is postponed in which case I will be on here booking it as a last minute thing like a shot) - I really didn't want to miss it!

This is the last post re Oct that I have from you, so can you confirm if you are coming please :)
Hope your Mum is ok also(y)
You can come it,s no problem.

Hi Shirley 2 for the bus please . Pete (y)(y)

A question I should have asked ages ago, but the prospect of the bus has only just made me think of it.

Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible, do you know? Toilets on the ground floor?

If you let me have a phone no & the right person to talk to, I can give them a call if you are not sure.

I'm guessing the minibus won't take the wheelchair. Here's hoping for a fine night! Just under a mile to walk it?

Don't mind either way, we can walk if the bus is full or come on the bus to make up the numbers, how's that for setting on the fence.

If it raining and a struggle ... there is plenty of parking place near the restaurant so could even up sticks and go in your van. . :)

They have a downstairs toilet which will take a wheel chair.
So no problems there.

Lots walked last time this is why I asked about the minibus.

If its a folding chair I can not see a problem as long as the user
can do a couple of steps. I am sure we will all help out.

Thanks Shirley.

Yes, Jane can manage a couple of steps, but that's about it.

The chair doesn't fold - well, you can fold the backrest down but that's it. It's a big electric job - 120kg of it. As a rule, Jane stays in it, rather than transfers to an ordinary chair at the table. That way she retains her independence.

We might be able to squeeze a folding manual chair into the van as well, just in case we need it, but it will be tight, as it's only a PVC.
