I am intending to fit a replacement Thetford 200 cassette into a unit with a SOG Bog connection hose to the exterior. Currently we use a no wheels cassette, has anybody fitted the new wheeled C200 into a SOG Bog, I think the hose might prevent the door shutting.

its a fan mechanism that extracts bad odours via 12v fan from the toliet pan and allows your neighbours to get a whiff of what youve been eating apparently ....

I know what a SOG is but to answer your question requires knowing which particular bog you're asking about😁.

Surely it’s going to depend on the specific fitting - our last van, a Bailey, had pretty restricted space between the cassette and the locker door (not enough for a Thetford bottle, for instance.). Our current Carthago has plenty of room - and has a wheeled cassette with a Sog hose. The hose doesn’t project at all, just swivel the spout.

How much space does OP’s van have around the cassette, and between the cassette and the locker door?

The question is really..... does a wheeled cassette fit into the same space/hole as a non wheeled one when there is a SOG Bog attachment involved

I don't think the SOG hose will make any difference. If it is a problem you could fit the connection for the SOG in a different place

Yes the cassette will sit in them position as the non wheeled type

I have a SOG on a C200 and went from no wheels to wheels, no problem. The wheels are at the back, the hose fits one of the fittings on the top so no issues.

Does having the wheels fitted reduce the poop 💩 capacity, I want as much of the 17 litres as possible available in my C200 👍🏻

I think it must, but it was all i could find when my old one fell apart, not even used the wheels yet in about a year!

Our van ,eldiss ,doesn't have a SOG but has all the plastic bits built in to add one ,just needs a hole saw ,a charcoal filter ,a computer type fan for extraction and a microswitch. .I have all the extras required except the microswitch that operates when the trap is opened. Can anyone guide me to the correct type of microswitch and where it fits, thanks

Me neither. Carry or use a trolley. I couldn't cope with the wheels bringing in mud & grit.
Surely the ideal is to wheel it down for disposal,, wash off completely (even the muddy ?? wheels) then carry it back empty ?? (y)

It does but don’t drive with it with any more than a quarter full as there is nothing to stop the content from going into the tube

My idea is to not get it dirty (in any way) and therefore to not wash it unnecessarily. It seems to work well. And yes I do carry it on the return trip 😉.
