Had reception on UK channels as far south as 40km north of Orange in Provence, a bit further west doesn't work quite as far south, reception appears almost as good as my previous 85cm Oyster.

We have Snipe on our van and live just south west of Limoges and it picks up Astra 2 just fine, the furthest south we have been yet is just below Bergerac and it was fine there also

What he said, ours worked fine at Parc Verger, which was as far south as we went with it in June. :)

Sorry, but the info seems to be wrong.
The Snipe has a box type dish that is the equivalent to a 65cm wok type dish and we have been picking up all UK channels just south of Bordeaux

I had a Camos flat receiver that was a 65mm equivalent.
Although I could receive a signal lower than Paris it was a bit hit and miss.
