Well that looks the like it does not seem to be showing the link.

If you click on the word "Less" in light blue at the end of the OP's description, it will take you to the facebook page.

It is for sale in Tillicoutry in Clackmananshire . It is advertised on Facebook Market place. I tried copying the link but it would not come up. I will message the seller if you like and see if it is advertised elsewhere.

It is also advertised here

I ahve contacted the seller and it does have a current MOT until July 2019

I have not seen the vehicle but only live a few miles away so would love to do an inspection if anyone is interested.

Helluva mileage even for a V8 Chevy , 520000, too many zeros :xgrin:

Looks a nice RV , if it’s been looked after a good buy.

LOOK, ITS A :h: :inlove: WINNEBAGO :inlove: :h:

P32 chassis and I would guess pre 1999 so on old narrower chassis.

Thought the 6500cc Chevy diesel was a straight 6 Larry.

My first RV was a T Reg Tiffin Allegro with Chevy 6.5 which was V8 , don’t know about earlier John.

My Chevy 8.1L big block is a V8. Capable of starship miles, it’s possibly the best motorhome engine ever made. :gum:

And, linked to an Alison 1000 gearbox, deffinately the best motorhome transmission set ever put together.:laughing::moon2::lips::boxing::Eeek::hi5:

Well, this brings back memories, our first MH was a 24ft Winnie, an earlier version of this one, not quite so good looking from the outside, but the interior was the same. It was one of those impulse buys, I just had to own one. Not for very long I might add. The V8 was an absolute pain to start, it needed all the batteries to be full to fire it up, they have a switch system that links start and leisure together for firing it up. I used to take a heavy duty truck booster just in case, which was more often than not. 12 mpg if we were lucky. the narrow chassis and very narrow tyres (Crossply) made it very difficult to keep in a straight line on our well maintained roads. When plugging into the site posts it would invariably blow the trips with the surge from the domestic circuit. Despite two trips to the R V Man at Alton it was still the same, now problem on their supply , it just didn't like the C club posts. It did have big grey and black tanks, 35gallon black and 25 gallon grey, somehow think someone was colour-blind when the built it. I needed surgery to get me out of the French bed on the inside, no chance of not disturbing SWMBO in the night call! . The mini oven / grille was hopeless, but the Fridge was brilliant. It did have a big LPG Tank which was just as well as we never used hook up. It also had a Genny, which the one advertised appears to lack. The ablutions were capacious, definitely built for those over the pond. It only took me a trip to the October Show at the NEC to convince me to part with it for a Eurobox. I did however get my money back on it because there is always some for them , just not me on this occasion ! Definitely horses for courses !
As I sit in our L shaped lounge watching the Sat TV, with the Alde heating silently keeping us toasty warm before we retire to the Island bed , that memory does seem to be a lifetime ago.

Can't help but think about our friend sloberdogbob, :xdoh: his American RV was a little one, :xwink: for a long while it was 23' 9" then when he sold it. :xgrin:
It was only 23' 3" :xdoh: he always liked to big things up. :xrofl: Bob

Trying to think of the phrase Motorroaming (Rick) used to use to piss him off and finally pushed him over the edge
