A query has been raised about the accessibility of the venue, and I can only apologise for not pointing out earlier that the venue is upstairs with no lift. I've been in contact with the showground who confirm there is no alternative access through teh adjacent building.

To allow everyone to make an informed decision, the staircase is quite wide but with two 90 degree bends. If I remember rightly, it's 2-3 steps up, a bend, another 8 or 9 steps then another turn with 2-3 steps to the top. Once up there, there is a toilet designated as ladies, but that everyone uses for these events. The kitchenette is also on the upper level and that is where we arrange the food.

My utmost apologies to all. If you want to pull out, that's perfectly understandable.

Hello all.

Booking for those on the confirmed list is now open. You now need to call the showground to book and pay for your pitch. It's £17 per night including power. Arrive from 28th December onwards.

Open times: 10:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

Jan is taking a well deserved holiday from 22nd November to 10th December, so please call and book before in the next two weeks to allow us to get close to final confirm numbers.

If you post back when you've booked we'll keep the front page up to date. You will note that this has now been renumbered removing those that showed an interest but have since cancelled.

Are there fireworks planned?
Thinking of the dogs that are going.

No fireworks at the showground but last year they were letting of fireworks from the residential sections around the showground

We are not planning any fireworks given that many dogs will be there. A couple of years ago, a small group of other campers did let off a few at midnight, but we can't control that, and they were 'low power'. Yes some of the houses also did, but they are a fair distance away.
