Hello
I am new to Vans and solar, my question is , I will be out of the country for 2 months and my van will sit on my drive. Should I disconnect the Solar panels as a precautionary measure as its not been used ?
many thank Tim

Hi trc01
I would leave them to keep the batteries looked after, unless you have other concerns. Others would envy your position 😉

Welcome! As suggested, just leave everything connected.

Assuming you have lead acid batteries then yes if you have a Lithium leisure battery come back for a fuller answer.

Yes I have 2x AGM batteries , so I guess they are lead. The reason to disconnect, is it will be left unattended for 2 months ,and I won’t be around to keep,an eye on it.Hoping it would not degrade batts. All advice says leave connected.

The safest answer is to leave them connected to a low power maintenance charger.
With a shorted cell the battery can get hot with a high power charger/controller on it as ours did in 2019.
