I think I found proof that they might exist

During my walk this morning at Bunree, I got away from the beaten track to get a few photos and came across this next to a small stream.

My initial thought was that it might be a tribute to a fatality, such as you sometimes see roadside !

Any ideas ?

Is there an arrowhead stick pointing to the rhs of the picture- is it a waymarker to somewhere? Or a wee moose hose?

The woods behind the Kilmarnock Arms at Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire have similar, but in a bigger scale. The wood has been invaded by fairies (not the same type that invade inner city woods :D)
Someone has done a really terrific job with little houses with proper gardens, washing lines, it is a work of art. They have signs warning that fairies are in the area. Children find it quite magical. The anonymous work which has gone into it is amazing creating a complete fairy community.

This appeared overnight in the bushes at the back of my mh. I just love this type of thing.

Mousy has told us about Leaving Stones and I can't wait to do some. :)

The sticks entwined together into a pyramid, embelished with ribbons and hanging stones ..one shaped like a heart.
Sorry, think Im on a very slow connection, the pic has come through now, lovely & the one on pic of the dayx:)

Yes .. it's Sandra's @irnbru new house!

I bet you don't believe in Santa either
you've never seen the pogles have you?

Hope the link works. .

Phill

It seems not!
go on you tube & search for Pogles wood, when you watch it, try not to laugh, it goes a long way to explaining why men of that era, thought the way to treat your wife was like this.

They have a lot to answer for!

Hi
I had read about Glen Coe and some of the poetry.'86 going to Bunree site, came through Glen Coe....... Hairs on the back of my neck stood up,there was a certain air about it.
Don't forget the."Little People" from across the water.....;).If you see one, grab a hold of him and do not let go,ask him to take you to his "Crock of Gold". He will huff and puff and plead with you..... Do NOT let go and.......;)

Someone has put a lot of work into the fairies at Cruden Bay. By what I can read there were issues with where the fairies set up there first camp (sounds familiar Funsters) and they were asked to move on. The images below are of the fairies moving out and moving up to the new location....this is brilliant, I feel like a kid. I cannot believe the level of detail. I must head up there to see for myself. Great scenic aire at the harbour space for a good number of vans and was 5 Quid a night last time left in an honesty box.

Frightened of the wild haggis were you? :D2
Those can be vicious in mating season.

I've had a few nasty bites from haggis
My uncle used to race them but those were full pedigree haggis. ...teeth like sharks they have

did he win the race?

Haggisaki was the world champion heavyweight haggis two years running .

Yep - move it to London, call it a Studio Flat, and you'll get at least £1000 a month in rent for that (y)

More strange findings and goings on the hills today !

I was again off the main path, getting a picture of the waterfall near Inchree....

when I found a box with a message on it and thinking back to @scotjimland ’s earlier suggestion of geocache messages, I checked inside to find that it was full of fine gravel, I assume to stop it blowing away ??

Bearing in mind, I was head to toe in goretex due to the atrocious weather, I heard screaming coming from the direction of the top pools of the waterfall and on full zoom could just make out a wild creature bathing

Due to the distance, the size of the creature was difficult to tell, but with visions of Brokeback Mountain, me and the dog high tailed it out of there
