having seen on here parking not too good around here, anyone got any suggestion where we could stay for a couple of nights , don't need any facilities maybe Tuesday to Thursday , this week, members of ccc if that helps, I can see various places on the sites but just wondered if anyone had been recently and got any tips.
Thanks

Scarborough...Pinewood Camping, where we currently are, on A170 just outside of Scarborough, £16 plus metered leccy if you need it. Shower block etc. Also Jacobs Mount site about 500 yards from where we are or Lebberston nearer to Filey, Cayton village site also good. There is large CCC site on the road to Burniston heading north out of Scarborough's outskirts

No other ideas, anyone, please

There is one just north of Whitby opposite the golf club from there it is a pleasant walk into town. Also one just south above the castle and a walk in town along the cliff side.

Hooks house farm. Robin hoods bay.
Magnificent coastal views, all down hill for the pubs. Taxi back:)
Nice shops and cafe's as well. Or a nice walk into Whitby on the old railway track. Taxi back is about £10 and most drivers are dog friendly. Not been in the Moho yet. But they do take em. Been many times in the caravan, and the owner, Paul even pitches and levels your caravan using his 4x4 to save your clutch.

Sandfield House Farm 01947 602660
Theres also a small farm site next to it on the Sandsend Road. (y)

Brown's Camp site at Cayton Bay. Pub on site and bus stop just outside gate to either Scarborough or Filey.

We quite often stay at Crows Nest, next door to Blue Dolphin at Filey. Has a nice fish shop and a swimming pool...good views over the cliffs to Scarborough as well..

Hiya Chaser,
We stayed at Broadings Farm Caravan site on the A171 going into Whitby last October. Nice quiet site with all the facilities inc nice showers. Abt 1 mile walk into Whitby itself but it is quite close to the Park & Ride so I would imagine buses would be handy. We paid £15 per night.
