Suggestions for a Satnav/Dash cam. Our old one was a Garmin Which showed our speed which we liked.

Hi Colyboy, I think most show the speed of travel but someone mentioned a Chinese one last week circa £40 on here but I know nothing about it.

I found a link

Yup, that the one that arrived last week. Not driven with it yet but all looks good on it. The main feature I wanted was the ability to set the dimension of our MH in it.
There are a few Funster using these Chinese satnavs and report that they are pretty good.

Try and look at the Aguri 720.
Full satnav with height, width, length and weight programmable, and forward facing dash cam built in and doubles as a 9 " Android tablet.
I love mine and the lane assist, speed camera warnings and expanded junction view on approach is very impressive.

I always go for Garrmin

The aguri also has a reversing camera input and can be paired with any mobile as well.
Only bought the Aguri as it suits my needs admiralty, but realise other makes are available.

Are you looking for a Satnav and dash cam in the same unit or separates.
I’ve just bought this dash cam.

And it works as a tablet accessing the internet. It also has thousands of campsite details on it at home and abroad, including ACSI ones, C&CC etc

Bought this one as well, for the price I am impressed, allows size of MoHo to be entered. Tried yesterday and couldn't fault it, based on the price. Has a few quirks to get used to, but that was just me not reading the manual or operator error ;-)

We’re hoping to take delivery of our van in September. It’s PVC based on a Fiat Ducato and comes with the Fiat Satnav / review camera / DAB radio etc. I’m assuming (always a dangerous thing to do!) that because it’s a Van satnav I’ll be able to enter dimensions?

I use a make called FLOUREON 7” same system as the others shown mine was £31 free maps update. Just updated mine yesterday.
And you can use it like an iPad. Run your mobile through it. Unfortunately it does not make coffee😂

Sat -nav .I have the recommended by funsters Xgody. works a treat.I have an early tomtom 760 to back it up if necessary. Still using a Jaws forward facing camera with 32gb card on endless loop. I have another spare camera in van but can't remember make?
Number plate light camera for reversing along with roof mounted high level rear view that is switchable.

I would be interested in dashcam recommendations. My Apeman dashcam keeps falling off the screen. The suction cup no longer works, which is a pity because the dashcam itself is good.

....a new suction cup perhaps......?
