So it looks like this outfit was at the NEC selling motorhomes over £300k, I wonder if they told potential purchasers that they are in administration and their warranty is likely to be worth zilch.

Love the RS Motorhomes ..

Can't afford the price unfortunatly, from a Motorcross background, and it was always the Quad's who had the money to pull up at a track with an RS :(

What a shame.

Looks like a beautiful motorhome but with that trading record I wouldn't take a chance even if £300,000 was just pocket money to me.
(I wish:whistle:).

I was looking at them a few years back and was not too impressed with the level of customer care and that was on the premise I may be giving them business. I was also not too keen on the design and finish. They appeared a little dated, but that is very much a personal opinion and personal taste.
I'm aware they went into receivership a few years ago, did not realise they had gone the same way again. You can't do that often leaving creditors unpaid, eventually business wont deal with you.
Shame if they have gone to the wall.

They've been bust umpteen times and in court for fraud. They go bump and then change the company name ever so slightly - this time its RS Motorhomes (Nottingham Ltd), still in the ownership of the same man and wife.

They sound like a dodgy couple, fair enough if they went bust due to other parties owing them money but to try and also defraud a bank!
They are not to sharp...

They must have money out of the previous companies to be able to keep on coming back..

Would not give you to much confidence in paying them a chunk in deposit and waiting for your new Motorhome to be built/delivered!..

I know someone that thought they had lost a lot of money with them but they knew someone that knew someone and the Race Truck got delivered. The owners son has lived a very charmed life I know of him from Moto X and follow him on instagram and it dosnt look like hes struggling or working very hard

That does not read very well, certainly not the most honest of people and certainly not the kind of people I would want to do business with and I'm sure that would be the opinion of many others.

Companies get dissolved for different reasons but coupled with the fraud claims and this record of their companies dissolved. A big buyer beware flag should be flown over their premises.

RS MOTORHOMES SALES LIMITED Dissolved April 2013

RS SALES NOTTINGHAM LIMITED . Active Company since 2013

M & R COACHBUILDERS LIMITED Dissolved 2014

R S MOTORHOMES LIMITED Dissolved 2015

RS MOTORHOMES SALES (SOUTH YORKSHIRE) LIMITED . In Administration

Can't remember ;)
They set off at Goldthorpe industrial est about 1 1/2 miles away from where I live ---lots of outside trades would not do work for them because they were bad payers and traders knew they were going burst a good 18 months before they did -I was warned not to do anything for them by a specialist electronics guy who was owed a few grand by them --Sad thing is when they went here they had almost 3 million quids worth of stock that the liquidators had advertised for sale ---they Phoenix and moved to the ind est near Blyth roundabout off the A1 Bawtry No doubt they will do the same again--As to their vans they use mostly Dometec that would be covered by Dometec for 2 yrs anyway

Same here after they moved down our way Terry, we spent 6 months chasing approx £2k for valeting work carried out, constant excuses changing staff members eventually received it in dribs & drabs, I know several other local businesses who received the same treatment one for considerably more than me, I receive sporadic phone calls from whoever is the current ‘management’ that month asking if I would be interested in doing work for them which I politely decline with a barge pole.
Whichever company name they seem too slightly alter to continue under it always seems to be the same two names pulling the strings.

I've just had some work carried out today and the works manager says they've gone bang yet again. Apparently he says they have restarted again somewhere else. I wonder if they received many deposits from the NEC.

A search at Companies House shows, that on 12th October, two new companies were formed. These are JR and MR Holdings Limited and Mason Wild Services Limited. No prizes for guessing who the directors are. Yes, they are Michael Rowe and Alison Rowe plus a Jack Rowe. Let’s hope they have better luck this time, for the sake of their customers!

Just had another look at the Companies House website. The SIC code (Standard Industrial Classification) for Mason Wild Services is 71809, which relates to employment agencies! So perhaps they are no longer in the motorhome business?

they were exhibiting at the NEC last month

When I spoke to a local dealer from Portsmouth last year they said it cost them £35-40k to attend the NEC by the time they paid for the stand, wages and accommodation.
I think RS are local so a bit cheaper for them but still a big chunk if you are struggling.
I would not think they would sell any at a show as if you are looking at £200k+ vans you would be at the dealership taking your time sorting it out..
