Remember the 670 is a heavy van 5500kgs, and the 2.9 5 pot engine is low reving and although pretty much bombproof if the oil is changed every 5000 miles, its far from being a racing car and fuel economy was of little concern 25 years ago. Dont expect much above 20 MPG, but they will run happily on biodiesel if you have a local supplier.
