Does anyone know if you can remove the table in a EuroMobil 660 HB? It looks and feels like it ought to come out but I can't seem to release it.

while waiting for someone who knows what they are doing:)

have a feel around under the catches as there is normally a release mechanism on most. I had a Profila 600HB but cant remember to be honest. if there is nothing to press it might just need a firm tug upwards

We have a Eura Mobil profila. The table attaches to the rail on the wall with two black 'clips' The right hand clip has a red button which you press to allow you to lift the table and remove from the rail. Hope this helps.

Thanks. This table is floor mounted not rail mounted. I can move the height up and down and it seems to me the travel available is about the depth of the space below floor level. The base looks like a bevel but does not move. Here's some pics

Hi, are you trying to get the pole out of the fitting on the floor, if so it just pulls out, but it may have been in since it was built.
To get the top off, on ours we had a catch with a square handle, and you pulled it out and gave it half a turn and then lift the top off. (y) Bob.

Yes I am trying to get the pole out.
The square handle on mine allows the table top to move back and forward about 8".
There are two largish knurled knobs on the shaft. The one at the top is visible in the wider photo. (The square handle is immediately above it). This knob secures the table from rotating around the shaft.
Towards the bottom of the shaft and hidden as it is on the seat side is another identical knob. This allows or prevents the shaft/table rotating in the lower part of the shaft. You can see the collar that houses the hidden knob above the base plate.
So you can have the table rotating in two ways.
Releasing both knobs does not allow the table/shaft to lift clear of the lower section up to the collar as you would expect.

Baffling.

I think you'll find that the only way of removing it is to unscrew the base itself which may be stuck to the floor, the poles on these types of tables don't normally just pull out but are integral with the base.

We took ours out often, try lifting and turning, probably never been out, but once you have done it, you will see how easy it is. Bob.

Thanks all. bobandjanie, is yours identical to mine? I am loathe to pull harder than I have already done and it hasn't come off although it rotates freely top and bottom; it may be as Minxygirl says and the base needs removing...

The base looks similar to the table in a Rapido, you have to undo all the retaining screws around flat plate at floor level.

Ours was the 666 HB the same but on a Mercedes.
If you take the base plate out you have a big hole under it, are you planning on leaving it out ?
Once out you could tap it out of the base plate.
Bob.
