I have a 2000w PS inverter and two 110 batteries plus two 110 solar panels.
Could I use a Remoska I think about 400w while off grid. Or is there another machine which will do what the Remoska does?
It'll pull about 35 amps on full. So it depends on how long you use it. But if you're off grid it's not a good idea this time of year. A slow cook would be kinder, but gas is more easily replenished.
So you have 110amps of usage before you start killing the batteries - you have 220watts of solar = on a good clear sky day 5/6amps return per hour (UK day= maybe 4 hours= 20/24amps back into battery.
Pulling about 35 amps on full cooking for 1 hour + all the other stuff drawing power (round off to 40amps for 1 hour) = will work for 1 or 2 days of cooking before you need to fully charge NOT top up with solar before your heading for new batteries. Remember driving for 1/2/3 hours will not fully charge your two batteries or sitting on EHU for 24 hours will also not fully charge them This is why many buy a B2B charger
