Worth fitting one for peace of mind. Our first Hymer in 2008 didn't have I fitted one.

If you are short of space in the switch box, you could swap the MCB for an RCBO. An RCBO combines the function of an MCB (overcurrent protection) with the function of an RCD (shock protection). It's fairly straighforward to fit, but not completely trivial. It's more expensive than a separate RCD and MCB, but since only one is required, it's no fortune.
