Just wondering if anyone has had to have a Rapido A Class screen replaced (rubber mounted) and if so whether it was difficult for the fitters as a major job or just routine. Also why the pitfalls were, if any.

7 years campers before that
not much different to many lorries so might be best done by commercial fitters although i would imagine all windscreen companies have their top guys who get these jobs

many many years! since I was a kid
its a huge piece of glass and at least a 2 man lift and will need a platform to reach the top not just a ladder

Had my A Class windscreen replaced 2 years ago rubber mounted and it leaked terribly but i did not find out for a year as its stored inside and we hadn,t been out in serious rain . Had it resealed in Spain by Car Glass with no problems since . I think they reuse the old rubbers maybe worth checking or getting new ones.
