Anyone else actually thought that taking so many photos of our vans is a bit weird?

We all do it, I do it. We park 2 metres away from a coast line somewhere, the first thing we do is step back and get a nice shot of the van with sea in background. Lovely blue sky above? We jump out and take a snap. A bit of snow falling? We ain't going to miss this opportunity for a different mood to our photos.

I've never taken photos of cars unless I am selling them but I do like taking photos of my inanimate object that I live in.

Weird huh?

Its like food, when we were young did we ever go out and take a picture of our meal then go to the all night chemist to get it developed and then take it round our mates so they could have a look at it?
Why do people keep posting pictures of their dinners

I think I'm getting old and miserable.:ROFLMAO:

Started as it was being converted, and yes most pitches we have stayed at we have a photo of van in situ. Dee likes to send them to family to prove we (were) enjoying retirement travelling.

This was my lockdown Friday night curry. Asda Vindaloo 🥘👍

The weird ones are the ones that don't take photos of their van. We get really miffed if we have stopped somewhere and forgot to take a photo.
You must have thousands of pics from Waitrose carparks then

Talking about Facebook mate every other post is someone's dinner, they should have a separate thread for it, I know people no matter where they are they "check in" then 5 mins later a dinner photo appears :ROFLMAO:
What if they arrive at Breakfast time ?

People post on Facebook to prove to you that their life is infinitely better than yours 👍😁

I may have the van in the background but most times I am photographing a person. family will be more interested in their families (I hope) than a bit of scenery.

With my failing memory it’s the only way I can remember where I have been because the location is on the photo
