PHGV Motorhome MOT During Covid Pandemic

Are PHGV MOTs on motorhomes being extended for 6 months? Or is it just lighter vehicles?

Yes, mine is 4 tonne and extended to October.

MOT extensions generally stop on 1st August. So you'll soon need one even for a car, let alone a 4,000kg MH.

All class 4 Mot's, ours is 4500kg and has been extended. Will only be extended for Mot's running out by 31st July.

Mine is due on the 24th July so I’m pleased as I have been intending changing (by re testing) to October/November due to usually away in France in July.

If anyone DOES need an MOT (class 4) in July, book in advance. Some stations are experiencing shortage of slots (not all)
