Hi,

Not sure why but would just like to share the passing away of our dog.

He was named Sena, a rescue dog that had been badly treated in the past. He was with us for 8 yrs and was 13 on his departure. He was my sons life, On the day in question he had been unlike his normal self and appeared a little vacant. He came to me for a stroke then went upstairs to my sons bed, a place he loved. About an hour later I thought I would check on him and was lying on the bed, thinking he was sleeping I shook him only to find him unresponsive. He is away just now for cremation and the ashes to be returned.

This is picture of him with my son.

Sorry to hear this, a devastating time.

Our lovely dog died two years ago and we still remember her both fondly, and sadly.

Well done for taking him in. He was a lucky dog to have found you and have 8 happy years with you👍
Im biased but They are amazing dogs and I feel your pain.
Your son must be devastated.

Thank you he was an amazing dog, not sure that the seagulls and ducks would agree.........

My son is devastated, let him off school for the day.

So sorry but you gave him 8 happy years. Time does heal and the happier memories take over.

RIP Sena, got something in my eye now.

It is always sad when we lose a pet, which has become a huge part of the family. :crying1:

Condolences to you all. RIP Sena.

Respect,

Jock.

Sorry to hear this it's painful and it never quite goes away, I still miss our dog and it's been years.

It's always good to remember the happy times you had together, and really nice not to suffer and Sena went peacefully.
RIP Sena.

Such a beautiful dog and evidently much loved, wonderful that you were able to improve his life so much, hope you can find some comfort in those thoughts.

its just horrible and I know from bitter experience. Your dog was lucky to have you and your family.

I'm so sorry you've had to lose such a lovely part of the family. We lost Mac (pictured) last summer and it has left a huge hole in our lives. Your son was very privileged to be loved by one so sweet. Sending sympathy and hugs. At least he died peacefully on the bed of his best mate.

I’m so sorry  thinking of you all.

Sorry for your loss. Dread the day it will be our turn

Run free over the rainbow Bridge Sena.
You were loved & loved in return RIP
xx

RIP Sena at least you were saved from the heartbreaking decision a lot of us go through.

Condolences to all of you.

We vowed "no more dogs" after Teddy died November 2019 but the grieving went on too long. So missed having a pet to look after that we now have two rescue dogs. Family complete again. We've now got to make sure we outlive them as I never want them to go into kennels again.

So sorry to hear of your loss. RIP Sena.
Having been there I know just how you feel.
