I wouldn't bother in all honesty.

Most (if not all) of us have PVCs which have crappy plastic windows that can be broken and opened by a 5-year old child armed with his plastic mechano screwdriver.

All the best,

Andrew

My preferred solution would be heavily armed mercenaries private security guards 24/7.

I agree with Blue Knight.

To me that looks ghastly. I know of course it's not about looks, but I'd prefer to take mine to a specialist and have deadlocks fitted which are flush with the bodywork.

If that is for the sliding door cant you make something to lock from the inside and exit via drivers door.

yes because most huge plastic boxes with many odd sized windows and multiple lumps on the roof usually look so graceful.

I would be more worried about the doors with central locking where the locks can be easily popped with a long thin screwdriver. This has happened to us. Here is my thread on fitting plates to prevent this method of access.

We left our PVC parked in Nice for about 30 mins and came back to an attempted break-in, they just forced open a plastic window breaking the interior handles in the process. The only thing I can think of that stopped them was the internal sensors going off from my Vanbitz alarm.

We drove round Italy for weeks having removed a broken kitchen window and replaced with a sheet of perspex cut to size and attached by duct tape. No problems at all! I was quite surprised that no one had a go!
