Oyster 85 w/skew cover part (1 Viewer)

I have no idea how old the Oyster 85 Sat Dish with skew is that is atop my Hymer S520 nor if it will work in the Southern Hemisphere. What I do know is that i can wake it up and it goes searching. In doing so it whacked the plastic cover off that protects the LNB and skewing mechanism so my quest is to find THAT part. Any idea where in Europe I need to look. ? The model I have has to cover enveloping the face of the LNB whereas later models appear to only protect the skewing mechanism. Would prefer the later cover if it would fit.

I agree. Here I am sitting by the fire on a cold evening at the bottom of New Zealand and I can get help from a chap in uk for a part from a motorhome I bought off mobile.de and paid with PayPal ......without even kicking the tyres. Well worth all the effort. And I have written to you Anthony to get the ball rolling and the part on its way.

I have had a new oyster sat system does the lnb cowl come as standerd or is an extra cost item.

The dish is 5 months old and its a vision 3, twin lnb 85 cm.

your system doesn't come with a cowling or require it. They used to come on the older Digital auto skew systems

Sorry I only just saw your post but yeah, James is correct.
the older units needed the cover to protect the mechanism but the new units do not.
