Our new shoe storage!

Finally got rid of the shoe box by the hab door and used the dead space over the step for the shoes. It's not a thing of beauty but I love it! We use the "useless bin" for dog lead and work gloves with the garden trug bolted to the "useless bin" for shoes. Just need to make sure we don't start dumping too much weight in it. A week into our new tour and it works a treat.
I'm claiming design rights but clever hubby made it.

Another who tends to carry a few pairs of shoes, well mostly sandals, find i can get a few on top of the water tank under the seat, last van had a space behind i could just get my hand in could get 6 pairs i there (i have small feet)

The top of our bin is rigid and have drilled and bolted the bottom flimsy bit which has firmed it all up. It's just that we always seem to end up with two or three pairs of shoes in the doorway. We tried a box at the door but it just got in the way.

My husband has size 11 feet, our son size 12! Shoes left lying around to trip over are a right pain.

We take two pairs each, 1 trainers one a bit smarter, the last trip we went on we wore the one pair of trainers each for the whole month, the others stayed where they were packed under the seat.
