I read the story of how Fun began. Who are/were the original 10 Funsters online at the same time?

Also , if you go back to old threads, there are a lot of posters who seemed to do a lot of posting back then but don't show up now , what happened to them.

I always liken forums to pubs. New people come along, some like what they see and start to become regulars but others don't. People also move on to other places/interests that suit them (or their changing lives) better for the time being.

Yeah but does anyone know what happened to any of them, are they at the great meet in the sky, or still mh ing down here but not posting, must admit , I have been on nearly two years now and threads are getting a bit samey , some complain about threads going off mhs but to keep interest going you have got to have other stuff , new people come on and ask the same questions that everyone asked at the beginning , that's fine and what the site is about but does get a bit boreing at times.

I only joined in 2010 but I've seen many regulars disappear over time. One or two who were very helpful to me personally are no longer around (one got banned ). As we've seen on some recent threads we actually get to know that someone has passed away but more often we're left just wondering.

I love the way that new members are helped by other new members when they ask the questions that may well have been asked a hundred times on here. It doesn't mean that the question isn't worth asking though.

We were admin on a bikers site where we met Jaws and Busman and were pleasantly surprised to see them on here. Angela sometimes logs on to the site but I haven't been on for ages, same with MX5 owners club and Mazda Menders. Things change and people move on as has been said.

well we are no.368,so I guess that makes us relatively long standing I remember at Peterborough show Jim press ganged us into this little gazebo and kept us there as prisoners until we agreed to join Its a great club and forum,long may it continue
