Going from Isle of Wight to Plymouth then Santander today, with a view to going across to the med and along the bottom of France then back to dieppe. (not booked) Have allowed 3 weeks ish. MH has a new KS energy battery, 140 W panel, have adapted gas locker so I can run on propane, calor or Spanish butane so no worries with Aires etc. Have joined ASCI discount scheme.
Did think I would head towards Pamplona first? and I need to visit Mende in the south of France at some point.
Any suggested itinerarys would be appreciated, difficult to get my head around the size of France!

There was very large Carpark/Aire in the centre of La Rochelle a few years ago that allowed overnight parking, interesting town, well worth a visit!

It's still here. Currently sat in the Aire reading Motorhome Fun. 170 pitches many with EHU. Entry barrier system. €12 a night. You may of course be referring to the large free Aire that used to be here but is now closed.
The one we are in is an ex campsite.

The one I was referring to was down near the University?

There is an aire near the university at San Sebastian and a cycle track into the centre. Really nice place for a days ambling about.
