Verteuil Sur Charente - stunning town, great Aire with full facilities.

Tonight's stopover. Stunning town, Aire is about 200 yards from The Charante, through a small park (with children's slides etc) adjacent to to the Aire itself. This is definitely a place to visit. Another one from All The Aires books, they really are a useful resource but quite often dint do the actual place justice, this is another example of that, but if we didn't have All The Aires, then we wouldn't have found it!

Thanks, though we didn't get chance to explore much as the boss went over on her ankle really badly and could hardly walk but at least the bruising is coming out and she can now walk around albeit with some difficulty.
yes we spotted the shaggy donkeys - do they ever get trimmed or is it a winter coat still?
