I'm on a 2013 so X250 and it's the same as TheBig1's picture. The seems to be different variants which is really strange.
2013 van might have been fitted with some 2014FL parts as they started to come down the production line.

My 2016 euro 5+ van has several euro 6 specific parts that I'm aware of, and probably more that I'm not, as it ran down the line at the same time as early euro 6's were being assembled.

But Skyway 's photo is a standard X250 fuse box.

I've emailed them to see what I need to do but looking at some of the posts on this thread in more detail looks like some of you have fitted a longer bolt? I've googled but don't know how to find a longer one of this type? Anyone got any clues for me?

If like the previous photo's they have the centre pin they are 'Torx security machine screws' you need to ask for.

PaulC70 Got mine off fleabay HERE not sure what length I bought though.
Thanks guys, measured the one that came with the obd lock which is a 25mm m6 so ill go for the 40mm as the 30 would only give an extra 5mm which would work but the original bolt in the cab is about 10 to 15mm so should be a good fit.

First try, mine was hard to line up. I put all the parts together in the end and the bolt lined up perfectly

Evening all.

I am considering getting one of the Womo / Camper Protect OBD Port Locks as per the OP.

Just wondering if any of the funsters who have fitted one of these has had any issues since fitting or are they still happy with their purchases ?

Thanks.

I had issues as it wouldn't fit my 2021 boxer properly, turns out that the screw wasn't long enough as they are made for left hand drive???

Yes I will also get the padlock option.
Hopefully all will be fine with it - I have a 2010 Boxer.
It is listed for that but if you haven't already maybe check that OBD port looks like the one in the photo. If any concerns email a photo of your port to Patrick info@camperprotect.de for confirmation before ordering.

it is a security screw, but easily undone with the right bit. It is a torx type screw head with a pin in the centre, so the bit is hollow
Pin centred Torx are no security, a small screwdriver will break the pin out with no effort at all then a normal Torx bit will fit. Don't ask how I know.

Nope, got a stoplock pro, patriot seat lock and Clutch claw instead as well as the blue leds from the Growler alarm. If more visual deterrent were needed the van would need a warning sticker for epileptics.

I have a Disklok as one of my layers of protection.
Always thought they were much better than a “normal” steering lock and it just about fits into the drivers door pocket when taken off so that helps.

No Disklok yet but have had Clutch Claw for both car & motorhome for many years as can be adjusted & transferred when changing vehicles but Funster discount code for both on link above. If choosing Disklok don't forget to also buy the steering wheel cover if you have a leather covered steering wheel to prevent damage. Disklok rates very well but like all security is a deterrent that can be overcome by a determined thief with tools.

I've just been looking at this device with its fancy cover lugs and an Abus lock - that must cost at least £35
I can see no reason why a piece of steel angle cant be drilled and security bolt be fitted.
The down side is that will have to buy a minimum of 5 off - Total off £3.32.

On having a proper look at my fuse box and OBD port I do not believe this device will actually fit. Will email the supplier with a photo to ask their advice.

It does not fit your layout of fusebox, only the other one with the bolt at the side of the OBD port, not below it
